N3, Taken. Now the Hardest Part… Waiting

Yesterday I sat the JLPT N3 exam at Centro Escolar University in Manila. It’s done. The pencils are down, the answer sheet is submitted, and there’s nothing left to grind on the actual content anymore.

Except the waiting. That’s its own kind of quest now.

Reading was the section that fought back the hardest, which honestly isn’t a surprise. It’s been my weak point the whole way through this climb from N4, and yesterday it made sure I knew it. Longer passages, more inference, less time to double back and reread than I wanted. I walked out of that section less confident than the others, and I’m trying to just sit with that instead of spiraling over it.

This is the first time “Pending” actually earns its place on this site. The active grind, the vocab decks, the grammar drilling, the mock tests, that part is genuinely finished. But the outcome is still locked behind a status screen I can’t see yet. Results won’t be out for a while, so this quest sits in limbo: not active, not completed, just… waiting.

I’ll update this log the moment that changes.
